Congratulations to Mark Vining on winning this years Order of Merit holding of strong challenges from Quentin van der Merwe and Joe Butler!! Well done to David Parker on winning this years Eclectic competition by just pipping Roy Wood and Neil Kerr over the final couple of competitions.

When playing an organised medal/stableford competition or roll up you are required to SIGN IN prior to teeing off and also ENTER YOUR SCORE and place your card in the box within 1 hour after you have finished your round. Any deviation from this procedure will lead to your disqualification. Club Championships 2023

Congratulations to our new but familiar Club Champion Mark Vining, who cantered to victory this year with an 8 shot cushion which included a superb gross 72 on the Sunday making it a 2 day total of 150. Serial runner up Graeme Girdwood came in second with a 2 day 158 total with Joe Butler coming in 3rd. Also, well played to this years Nett Club Champion David Hawkins, who's two day total of 136 was just enough to pip Jon Ing by a shot, with Jagdev Khatkar coming in 3rd on a 139 total.

Best Saturday and Sunday scores were David Parker (gross 77), Dave Hawkins (nett 62), Mark Vining (gross 72) and Jon Ing (nett 66) with this years inaugural Chairman's Cup being won by Gurvir Gill on 39 points.

Some great scoring with the course in great condition and well done to all involved with making it a great 2 days of golf.

October Medal 2023

Congratulations to Quentin van der Merwe (10) on winning Division 1 in the October Medal with an impressive net 67 (gross 77), with a round that included 9 pars and a birdie. Paul Lewis (10) came runner up after carding net 70 (gross 80) with Allaudin Elias (13) coming 3rd on net 70 (gross 83).

Well done to Jagdev Singh Khatkar (16) on winning Division 2 and overall honours with a superb net 66 (gross 82), with a round that included 7 pars and a birdie. Gabba Juttla (16) came in runner up on net 66 (gross 82), with Dave Rutland (18) in 3rd on net 66 (gross 84).

Division 3 winner was Roderick Jamieson (29) who took Division 3 with net 67 (gross 96), with a round that included 2 pars. Abhay Kaura (25) came in second on net 69 (gross 94) with Neil Kerr (21) in third on net 69 (gross 90).

October Stableford 2023

Congratulations to Jon Ing (10) on winning Division 1 in the October Stableford with an impressive 40 points, with a round that included 9 pars and 2 birdies. Charlie Maddock (8) came runner up after carding 39 points with Peter Hobden (13) coming 3rd on 39.

Well done to Jay Talwar (18) on winning Division 2 with a superb 44 points, with a round that included 7 pars and 2 birdies. Chris Herring (14) came in runner up on 38, with Derek House (17) in 3rd on 38 points.

Division 3 and overall winner was Manoj Parveen (19) who took the honours with 45 points, with a round that included 8 pars and 2 birdies. Ming Ye (30) came in second on 38 points with David Reilly (19) in third on 36.

Scratch Medal/Winter Pairs/Majid Cup 2023

Congratulations to Kevin Parkinson on becoming this year's Scratch Champion with a great round of 79 in tough conditions that included 7 pars and 3 birdies. Graham Girdwood came runner up with a 80, just edging out Ben Moyle on 82!

Winter Pairs Champions this year were Roy Wood and Neil Kerr who saw off Alex Leung and Nathan Howe in a hard-fought final!

Majid Cup Champions for 2023 were Glenn Clifford and Paul Brain who beat off Dhananjay Kumar and Roderick Jamieson 7&6 in the final!

Plus €6cents that I will take abroad with me on my holidays. On top of this I will be donating £3 per person for every individual who did not manage to beat the captains score of 35 points which was 70 players from a possible 74, so another £210 towards the cause. 🙏🏻 As some of you may have noticed I was feeling a little worse for wear the consequences of going out first group, sitting in the sun & Guinness, it's been a while it was nice to enjoy a drink with you all whilst not worrying about driving thank you Gurvir. It's half way through my year as Captain so I will be putting all the cash that we have raised into the just giving page this week so I have an updated amount of where we stand in terms of funds raised. Robin Panter Cup 2023

Congratulations to the new Robin Panter Cup Champion Joe Butler (8) who shot a two dat total of 75 and managed to hold off a very strong challenge from Ben Moyle (8) who carded a 74. Division 1 was taken by Ben Moyle (8) on 74 who had a 4 shot cushion over Charlie Maddock (8). Paul Brain (14) took Division 2 on 71 with Jagdev Khatkar (16) coming in runner up a shot back. Division 3 was won by Jay Talwar (19), with his 68 total, beating first day leader David Stockings (28) into 2nd on 67.

Best Saturday score was David Stockings (28) with a very impressive 37 and Sunday's best was Ben Moyle (8) on 40.

Some great scoring with the greens in excellent condition and it was great to see Robin's family attend to dish out the top prize.

Captains Charity Day 2023

A massive thank you to everyone for supporting this years Charity Day, members, players, guests, volunteers, staff, sponsors and everyone who donated items or cash towards the charity not just yesterday but since December. It was an amazing day thanks to all & we just dodged the weather for the golf, sadly it didn't last for the after party.

Money accounted for so far since December 2022 stands at *£8207.25*

This is made up of £4714.75 cash / bank transfers to me directly, £3133 on the just giving page, £360 in the club account.

There are still outstanding monies to be added from the charity day for hole sponsoring, auctions etc which in itself raised close to £6k on the day which is fantastic!

I'm projecting £9.5k in total if not more, thank you all for your efforts!

Chiltern Breakfast League 2023

Well done to the 2023 Chiltern Breakfast League team that won this years final of the Breakfast League after a fantastic season which saw them win their division with the best overall record in the league, then beat Weston Turville 5-1 home and away in the semi-final, setting up a clash with Mill Green which they also won 5-1. Wycombe now hold all three CBL titles so let's keep it going!

Wycombe came runners up the end of season Chiltern Breakfast League Challenge Cup to finish a successful season at Shendish Manor and will be looking for continued success in 2024! Well done to Steve Russell who picked up the Player of the Year trophy after a 100% win rate this season in the league.

Wycombe Heights won this years Chiltern Breakfast League Winter KO (2023) after defeating a strong Three Locks team in the Final 4.5-1.5. A great effort by all those that took part and let's make sure we add the league crown this year for the full set!

NAPGC 2023

Wycombe Heights were crowned this years NAPGC Gordon Forster Bowl Champions (2023) after defeating a strong 8 team line up in the National Final at Gaudet Luce GC.

Well done to Dave Allen's Wycombe Heights who managed to reach the National Final of the Siemens Bowl where they finished up runners up to Rose Hill.

Wycombe also reached the mixed Hawtree National Final where they ended up in 3rd spot and the Toprock Salver National Final which also didn't end end victory.

In the individual competitions, congratulations to Glenn Clifford and Tommy Keeling finished winner and runner up in their division in the National Championship of England.
