Friendly Match !! Well Done to the team as the Captain handed the leadership to Paul Lewis for the match at home to Thorney Park and they won 5.5 - 0.5 ,but in Pauls own words it should have been 6 - 0( something to do with the 18th he said ).

May Stableford!! Well Done to Kevin Parkinson 37pts ,David Lemmon 40pts and Warren Badger 36pts who took the divisional awards in the NAPGC qualifier.

Winter Pairs Final !! In a hard fought match Paul Brain and Glen Clifford ran out 3 and 1 winners over Dave Corradine and Paul Lewis. Congratulations to the new champions.

Chiltern Breakfast League !! Well Done to the team as the Captain juggled his squad at home to Chartridge Park and obtained a 4.5 - 1.5 win.

April Medal!! Well Done to Steve Godley nett 65,Steve Russell nett 69 and Peter Lewis nett 66 as Divisional winners in the April Medal .Steve godley also had the best gross score of 72.

Siemens Bowl !! Well Done to the boys who recorded a 142pts - 128pts victory over Farnham Park and good luck to them in the next round.

Chiltern Breakfast League !! Well Done to the team who had a hard fought 3 - 3 draw away at Oakland Park as they battled through wind , rain , hailstones and thunder and lightning , with the odd sunny spell.Special praise to Mark Vining and Gary Morris who came back from 5 down to halve their match ,and Glenn Clifford who had 4 birdies and an eagle in helping Paul Brain to a 2 and 1 win .Other points were won by Jack Robinson and Dave Newman and Steve Godley and Matt ( the best club chucker in the club ) Withey.

Hillman Trophy Result Well Done to the Hillman team who won through to the next round with a comfortable 6 - 1 victory over Princes Risborough.They will play either Frilford Heath or Badgemore Park next.

Clapham Common Trophy Result Well Done to the Clapham B Team who won through to the next round with a 209pts - 198pts victory over Hounslow Heath.They will play either Downshire or Ruislip next.

Chiltern Breakfast League Winter Knockout !! Well Done to Captain,Paul Brain and his team who battled to a 3.5 - 2.5 victory in the Final against Aldwickbury Park,2.5PTS GAINED AT HOME and a very good point away by Steve Godley and Matt Withey.Lets hope this form continues through the summer in the league .

In addition, you can enter the Two's competition (£1 per round) and win three golf balls for each 2 scored - with proceeds going to Kids in sport.

COMPETITION ROUND FINISHING TIMES :- Could players please remember to write the time they left the 18th green on their scorecards at the end of all competition rounds. It was noticed that a number of players had forgotten to do this for the May Medal.

LATE WITHDRAWL FROM COMPETITIONS :- Due to the recent unprecedented and unacceptable rise in late withdrawals from competitions that have lead to changes in the draw, the Competitions Committee have been left with no alternative but to enforce the following ruling in accordance with the Club rules:

For any withdrawal made after noon on the Wednesday prior to a weekend competition the Committee will ban the player concerned subject to receiving a satisfactory explanation or/ and the competition entry fee. Members are reminded that it is their responsibility to contact a Committee member, (see Contact Us) to withdraw, and are requested not to alter the draw sheet themselves.

Furthermore, members are reminded that if they walk off the course during a Club Competition it is their responsibility to contact a Committee member (see Contact Us) within 48 hours to explain their behaviour. Failure to do so may result in a month ban. Members are also reminded that walking off the course without a satisfactory reason will also result in a 1 month ban.

There is now a facility available to withdraw from competitions via e-mail. Go to the 'Tee Times' page and click on the link Competition Withdrawl. Please state the date of the competition you are entered for and your reason for withdrawl.

Competition tee times are for the initial draw only, you need to check on the club notice board if you are a late substitute.

If you want to withdraw from a competition, you HAVE TO advise a Committee member, otherwise you will still be liable for the full green fee and the competition entry fee.
